TESEV aims to strengthen disaster management at national and local level within the framework of democratic governance and sustainability principles, processes and policies in order to reduce disaster risks. For this purpose, it provides policy recommendations based on scientific findings through studies that support the cooperation and participation of central government, local government, civil society, academia and private sector. In this context, TESEV carries out the following studies:

Participatory, community-oriented digital or offline methods and tools for disaster risk reduction and emergencies
Roles of different stakeholders in disaster management, their co-operation and reactions to crises
