Fulya Memişoğlu is an assistant professor in the Department of International Relations at Çukurova University since 2009. She holds an MA from the University of Warwick and a Ph.D. in Politics from the University of Nottingham (UK). She recently completed a Jean Monnet postdoctoral fellowship at the Europan University Institute (Italy), working on the Europeanisation of migration and asylum policies in Southeast Europe.
