Exploring Data for Equal Cities / What is Gender Sensitive Data and How to Use It?

Exploring Data for Gender Equal Cities project, carried out by the Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation (TESEV) supported by Swedish Consulate General in İstanbul, aims to understand the gender sensitive data ecosystem for just and inclusive cities and to advocate for the quality, accessibility and use of data. For these purposes, What is Gender Sensitive Data and How to Use It? event was organized. Within the scope of the event, instructors Emel Memiş, Mustafa Çadır and Arif Mert Öztürk informed the participants about the scope of gender sensitive data and its use for equality policies. In the forum session of the event, participants from local government, civil society, academia and the private sector discussed the use of existing data for gender equality.
